Details are now emerging that show the man had a long history of violence and delusion. Our nation's mental healthcare protocols are a fucking shambles. Please, if you know someone who seems to be suffering from emotional illness and may be capable of harming themselves or someone else, tell somebody about it. Forget that they might hate you for it; forget that it might not be any of your business. You could save somebody's life.
