The beef between pro-pot attorney John Morgan and Democratic National Committee chairwoman (and anti-legalizaton figure) Debbie Wasserman Schultzheated up, with Morgan claiming Wasserman Schultz's office offered to lighten its stance in exchange for his backing off attacks on her for being on the wrong side of the issue and opposing a potential Senate run. Ironically, it seems like he's the one that remembers all the alleged details...

A poll conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University finds that Americans don't know what the hell our Common Core educational standards are, or even what they cover. Good luck, kids.

And finally, the OscarsOscar'ed. I didn't see them, however, because ABC, a regular (non-cable) network that is freely available to anyone with an antenna on their television, refused (again) to stream the proceedings online, because online ad revenue is lower than TV ad revenue, and ABC thinks in terms of either one or the other, because ABC is a dinosaur shielding its eyes with one claw as it watches an approaching meteor and wonders what that pretty sun-rock is.
