There's no joke here, other than perhaps a sick one about this being proof that now absolutely everything from the '80s is officially back. Just because something hasn't been on CNN or Facebook for a while doesn't mean people aren't suffering, largely because of a lack of information. Be accountable. Educate yourselves, protect yourselves and take care of others. "It doesn't kill you anymore" is, seriously, neither true nor a reason to not worry about contracting a disease. What are you, crazy?

NASCAR doesn't really want people flying their Confederate flags all around their events, thanks very much, and will give you a more patriotic American flag in exchange for your distasteful symbol of "southern heritage." (Read: support of racism.) It's a bold move for such an, er, "southern"-associated brand, and some of its fans are unhappy. Mostly it's the ones who don't mind supporting a symbol of racism, though, so fuck 'em.
